Discover the power within you to achieve your wildest dreams

I successfully completed my challenge of running 25 marathons in 2025, with the last 7 in 7 days to raise funds for Save the Children! I have raised a fantastic £2,500! You can still sponsor me too! Thank you for your support.

I see a world where each person in it is valued for who they are and who they want to be, and are able to thrive and be truly happy and well.
I might challenge a few things to get us there, but we can go on a journey together to find success and freedom, and the ability to design our lives just as we want them.

I have faced many challenges in life, but every time I have risen up to not only survive, but gain strength from them. Because of some of those challenges I also failed every school exam there was. I have faced many challenges in life, but every time I have risen up to not only survive, but gain strength from them. Because of some of those challenges I also failed every school exam there was. But something deep inside me told me I was not the stupid person people told me I was. So I decided to train to be a nurse, and qualified in 1999 with the highest grades in our year! That moment defied every person that had told me I would never achieve anything in life.
I had a successful nursing career, during which in 2012 I gained a BA in Theology from the London School of Theology, and in 2013 was awarded an MA in Contextual Theology. I also went on to get a Post-Grad Diploma in Biblical Studies.
All of this, and my life experiences contributed to my first book, God: Naked at Last. I am now working on my second book, called Unexpected, tackling the subject of infertility.
I am now an author and motivational speaker. I also have a love of running, and I regularly run ultra-marathons. I believe everyone can run, and love inspiring others to take it up; whether we run one mile or 50, we are all runners!
So come on a journey with me to discover yourself, and bring to life your wildest dreams!
God: Naked at Last is about stripping God of religion and finding what is left. There are lots of people who wish to have an experience of God, to know and perhaps experience something of God for themselves. But they might not want to be involved in religion, church or Christianity. Here, we strip away religion and discover God again. It
God: Naked at Last is about stripping God of religion and finding what is left. There are lots of people who wish to have an experience of God, to know and perhaps experience something of God for themselves. But they might not want to be involved in religion, church or Christianity. Here, we strip away religion and discover God again. It is for those exploring faith, spirituality and whether there really is a God-figure out there.
The Unexpecting Journey is part travel biography, part exploration of infertility. It describes our pre-children back-packing trip around the world, then our journey through infertility, and ends with our freedom trip; our post-infertility back-packing world tour.
I explore infertility in detail; from its devastating effects, to how to perform a self-rescue, to set ourselves free from this trauma, and discover what treasure lies beyond it. It is an awful thing to endure and it can destroy us, but it does not have to be that way forever. We can set ourselves free and find healing, freedom and the treasure we gain only through enduring the hothouse of suffering.
